Time to get my Geek on

Been a wicked crazy (that's what my Boston users would say) week at work. That coupled with an online Fiction writing class I'm taking has taken time away from my blog and gaming. I'll be taking a little break this weekend though. Getting together with a bunch of guys I play Halo 2 online with (yes, we do all know each other) at a Cabin about 40 minutes north of the Twin Cities. We did this in the fall and it was good times. Lots of food, drinks, network cables, and grown men playing video games till we fall asleep.

I plan on bringing the digital camera so I'll try to post some pics sometime after I get back.

Blizzard Working on Diablo III?

I didn't think it would ever happen, but I was reading through Gamespy's Most Wanted Games of 2006 when I ran across this little blurb:

Diablo III - Nope, it hasn't officially been announced. But word has it that Blizzard is cooking this up in its skunkworks. We're hoping for an announcement sometime this year.

Holy Shnikes! I'm a huge sucker for Diablo and Diablo II, but with World of Warcraft sucking up most of my playing time, how am I going to deal with Diablo III too!!??

Too many games, too little time - all hail Blizzard Entertainment.

World of Warcraft Wednesday

Time to fess up. Last week I promised to have my Photoshop issue rectified so I could post a screenshot each week of my play. Well, I broke my promise. It seems it's much easier to be lazy than it is to do something I intended on, but failed to act on. I'll try to fix it this week, no promises!

I finally made it to the halfway point as far as reaching the level cap. Yep, I dinged 30 this past week thanks to a great group that helped me complete all the quests in the Stockade. So far the re-specing of my character seems to be helping. I'm actually using my Mage like others in groups want, which is helpful for keeping a group together for other runs.

One of the guys in the successful group is actually in my Guild, a Male Warrior that goes by Timp. I was actually on with him last night and he helped me out on a couple of quests. I believe he's a level 33 so we can work together nicely. I'm sure I'll be running around Azeroth with him for a while.

That's all the time I have this week, here's another user submitted screenshot from the official site.

YEAH BABY!

And finally, here's a fun Penny Arcade comic that is all too true:

On the Outside - Tragic Endings Review

Here's my review of this trash....err.....I mean album. I must say, Metal is just not what it used to be. This has no inspiration and the entire thing is 19 miuntes long! Just read my review because it's fun to rip and savage bands/video games/movies from time to time. Here's hoping my next review is a little more enjoyable.
